Right out of college I worked as a programmer at Motorola.  My mentor there would always ask “What’s the worst thing that can happen?”  when I was faced with a challenging situation.  It is something I have gone back to many times over the years and really helps to put things in perspective.    

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and be proactive in your job search.  Expand your network, ask for advice, help, etc.  Be an active participant in the process and communicate!  Hitting the “apply” button is just the beginning of finding that perfect fit.

Not Shopping!  Love to spend my time with my kids whenever possible.  Also travel, enjoying great food/wine, and reading a good book.
